Dead Drops By Aram Bartholl

8 Nov

I heard about this project last week. Nonetheless, my excitement about it resulted in this post. Dead Drops is an anonymous, offline, peer-2-peer file-sharing network in public spaces.

Aram Bartholl started ‘injecting’ USB flash drives into walls or buildings accessible to everyone. I can’t wait to see people random connect their laptop to a wall in the city and share files. Anyone can participate! I’m seriously searching for old usb drives hahaha. Somebody already spotted a few? Would you share movies?
